Dinner or Lunch for Eight

“Dinner or Lunch for Eight” provides the opportunity to meet others who worship at NRUMC. This opportunity is for any adult, whether you're a member, a non-member, single, married, young, senior citizen, or anything in between.

“Dinner or Lunch for Eight” plans:

• groups will meet over the course of four months; dinner or lunch schedule is up to the group
• each group will be made up of either eight people; the group could include both singles and couples
• three members of the group will serve monthly as the host or hostess
• the host or hostess will set the date of the dinner or lunch, and decide whether they will prepare the meal, organize a pot luck, or arrange a dinner or lunch at a local, moderately-priced restaurant, “dutch treat”.

Groups will be organized to enjoy dinner or lunch together from February through April (on the group's schedule). Because the groups will not be meeting on the church campus, child care is not available.
