Prayer

“I promise to uphold this congregation of The United Methodist Church by my prayers, my presence, my gifts, my service, and my witness.”

—New Members Reception Service, The United Methodist Church

Partners in Prayer

These intercessory prayer groups offer prayers each week on Friday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in our Sanctuary and Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. in the Conference Room downstairs near the church office. Our prayer list is gathered from prayer cards received in worship services as well as those phoned to our church office. A confidential e-mail of weekly prayer concerns is sent to additional members who cannot attend prayer sessions at the church. Sue Haney leads the Sunday afternoon group and Ruby Rosbach leads the Friday morning group.

Not only will you be a blessing to those for whom you are praying, you will be blessed as you draw near to our living and loving God in prayer. For those who may not be able to attend either prayer group, but wish to pray at home, you may email Lisa Mooneyham or call her at 919-847-1536 and request an email of this week’s prayer list.

Prayer Chain

This ministry is linked through the Internet and shares immediate prayer concerns of the day with participating church members. Email Lisa Mooneyham or call her at 919-847-1536 and she will incorporate your concerns into the daily prayer chain.
