Sunday, August 18, 12:30 p.m.
Fellowship Hall (lunch will be served)
In 2014, North Raleigh United Methodist Church put a team together to create a broad sweeping Safe Sanctuaries policy that would best address the ways our ministries function for children and youth. The policy was published and shared, and many members of our congregation attended training at that time. Part of our requirement is that a formal background check and Safe Sanctuaries training be completed for every person serving in ministry with children or youth at least once every three years. Regardless of whether you work with children and youth or not, we encourage all church members to know and understand the policy, and to attend the formal training, so that we can join together in the care for our children and youth in this place. Click here to review our current Safe Sanctuaries policy. We hope you will join us in our efforts to love and serve the youngest in our community in the safest of ways.
