Fun. Faith. Family.
Welcome to NRUMC Youth Ministry!
In our Youth Ministry, students strive to understand what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ! It is the goal of NRUMC to provide space to learn about true discipleship, while also providing opportunities for students to put what they’ve learned into action. Through all of this, we help students create community, be their true selves, and seek Christ out in their lives.
One of the best ways for students to be a part of our youth community is to join us UMYF–United Methodist Youth Fellowship. Time at UMYF is spent sharing in small groups, worshiping, praying, and having fun together.
We offer a student leadership program that is designed to help give students ownership and responsibility as well as provide input and support to youth ministry staff. Meetings and activities planned for this team will help students learn key leadership skills through discussion and practice, as well as help students discover their spiritual gifts and use them to grow not only as a leader but also in their faith. This year’s Student Ministry Team is available to all rising 8th-12th grade students!
If you are interested in becoming a student leader, please be sure to check your availability with the schedule below and read the expectations. Download the application, complete it, and email it to Nick at firstname.lastname@example.org. All applications are due by Friday, March 12, 2021.
Congrats seniors! Please print, complete, and mail the scholarship form to the church at 8501 Honeycutt Rd. Raleigh, NC 27615. All application requirements must be turned in by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021.
We pray for and with students, and teach spiritual practices that build their faith.
We prioritize intentional fun by playing games that build community. We encourage authentic relationships through weekly small groups and weekend retreats.
We participate together in local service projects, summer mission trips, and churchwide missions.
We intentionally place adult ministry leaders who guide and support our students on their journey.
Join us @ Sunday School!
