What Service Times and Types Are There?
We're offering two times for the most popular worship service this year - 11am and 7:30pm.
11am will have Nursery care and an interactive Kids' Ministry Moment in addition to our full Traditional Worship Service.
Family Service
Want an interactive retelling of the Christmas story? Bring your family and get the kids involved in the Christmas Pageant (no rehearsal or prep needed!)
Join in a service with Christmas songs led by the praise band as well as beloved traditions of communion and candlelight.

Celebrate the joy of Christmas at North Raleigh UMC with a worship experience for everyone! Whether you prefer traditional hymns, an interactive family pageant, or contemporary praise music, we have a service for you.

Celebrate with uplifting songs led by our praise band alongside cherished traditions of communion and candlelight.

COME AND CELEBRATE
All are invited to join for our Family Advent Celebration on Saturday, December 7th from 9:30-11:30am in the Youth Building. We will be offering a continental breakfast, crafts, cookie decorating, stories and more. Enjoy pictures with a special visitor as well! Please register the whole family so we have an accurate number.
Celebrate the joy and wonder of the season with an enchanting afternoon of music, featuring organ masterpieces and festive selections. Sounds of the Season will include music from Advent and Bach, playful and fun selections, and Christmas favorites from The Nutcracker, carols, and more. Come experience the beauty of the season in music. Admission is free, and all are welcome! RSVP to help us plan for the reception to follow.

Fantasia on Christmas Carols by Vaughan Williams
Dec. 15th 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Services
This year, the NRUMC Chancel Choir will be joined by orchestra and guest baritone soloist, Chris Short, for Ralph Vaughan Williamsβs spectacular arrangement of well-loved Christmas tunes and carols. The music-led service will also feature grand hymn orchestrations, handbells, and works by composers such as Marques Garrett and Kyle Pederson. We hope you will join us!
ππ Family Christmas Eve Worship ππ
Celebrate the joy of Christmas with a worship experience designed for all ages! Join us on Christmas Eve, December 24th, at 3:30 PM for a Spontaneous Christmas Pageant and so much more at North Raleigh UMC (8501 Honeycutt Road, Raleigh) β conveniently located near Lafayette Village and I-540.
What to Expect:
πΌ Spontaneous Christmas Pageant β kids of all ages can jump into the story of Christmas! Costumes for animals, angels, shepherds, and more will be provided.
π―οΈ Glow Stick "Candles" β a safe and fun way to light up the evening together.
πΆ Carols and Favorite Songs β sing along to the music of the season.
πΈ Family Photo Ops β capture a special memory by the Christmas tree.
π Communion β share in the sacred tradition together.
This service is open to everyone β families, friends, and neighbors alike! Come as you are, and letβs celebrate the light of Christ shining in the world together.
PS: Looking for a different time? We also have a Traditional Worship Service at 11 AM, featuring free nursery care, a Kids Moment, and Worship Bags to help engage children in the service. Families are also welcome at the 5:30pm Contemporary and 7:30pm Traditional services!
