11am will have Nursery care and an interactive Kids' Ministry Moment in addition to our blended service.

Family Service

3:30pm

Want an interactive retelling of the Christmas story? Bring your family and get the kids involved in the Christmas Pageant (no rehearsal or prep needed!)

Contemporary

5:30pm

Join in a service with Christmas songs led by the praise band as well as beloved traditions of communion and candlelight.

Traditional

7:30pm & 9:30pm

Celebrate the joy of Christmas at North Raleigh UMC with an inclusive worship experience for everyone! Whether you prefer traditional hymns, an interactive family pageant, or contemporary praise music, we have a service for you.

What to Expect:
🎢 Carols and Favorite Songs β€” enjoy beautiful music led by our piano, organ, choir, handbells, or praise band (depending on your service!)
πŸ•―οΈ Candlelight β€œSilent Night” and "Joy to the World"β€” light up the evening with this sacred tradition.
🍞 Communion β€” open to all as we celebrate Christ’s presence.
πŸ“Έ Family Photo Ops β€” create a keepsake memory by the Christmas tree.
πŸŽ„ All Ages Welcome β€” every service is family-friendly and filled with joy!

Enjoy timeless Christmas carols led by our Blended Ensemble. 11:00 AM includes nursery care and an interactive Kids’ Ministry Moment.
✨ Family Service β€” 3:30 PM
Bring the story of Christmas to life! Kids can jump into the Spontaneous Christmas Pageant with costumes provided (no prep required).

✨ Contemporary Worship β€” 5:30 PM
Celebrate with uplifting songs led by our praise band alongside cherished traditions of communion and candlelight. Nursery care is available during this service for kids 5 and under (all ages are also welcome in worship!)
✨ Traditional Worship β€” 7:30 PM & 9:30 PM
Enjoy timeless Christmas carols, a beautiful choir, and handbell music.  Nursery care is available during the 7:30pm service for kids 5 and under (all ages are also welcome in worship!)

Chrismon Worship Service
Sunday, November 30 | 5:00 PM

 

Celebrate the start of the Christmas season with your family at our Chrismon Worship Service! This interactive, family-friendly service features:

  • A Kids’ Christmas Musical, which shares the story of Christmas through the joyful voices of our children β€” the musical is the message!
  • Live music from our youth praise band.
  • The decorating of our Chrismon Tree β€” everyone is invited to hang an ornament! (Chrismons are Christ Monograms, special symbols that remind us of Christ’s presence in the season.)
  • After the service, step outside for the Yard Angel Illumination, where 200+ angels in our yard, placed in memory or honor of loved ones, are lit β€” a beloved local holiday tradition. Stick around for fellowship and refreshments afterward.

 

This service is indoor, kid-friendly, and a wonderful way for visitors and longtime members alike to experience the joy and light of the season as we begin Advent. 

All are invited to join for our Family Advent Celebration on Saturday, December 6th from 9:00-11:00am in the Youth Building.  We will be offering a continental breakfast, crafts, cookie decorating, stories and more.  Enjoy pictures with a special visitor as well!  Please register the whole family so we have an accurate number.

Join us for Joel Raney's Cantata, " A Thrill of Hope," featuring just about every Christmas Song you could ever ask for all in one fabulous tapestry of song.  Our Seasonal Choir of nearly 60 members will be joined by organ and orchestra to tell the Christmas story in a way that is familiar and fresh all at once.

Celebrate the joy of Christmas with a worship experience designed for all ages! Join us on Christmas Eve, December 24th, at 3:30 PM for a Spontaneous Christmas Pageant and so much more at North Raleigh UMC (8501 Honeycutt Road, Raleigh) β€” conveniently located near Lafayette Village and I-540.

What to Expect:
πŸ‘Ό Spontaneous Christmas Pageant β€” kids of all ages can jump into the story of Christmas! Costumes for animals, angels, shepherds, and more will be provided.
πŸ•―οΈ Glow Stick "Candles" β€” a safe and fun way to light up the evening together.
🎢 Carols and Favorite Songs β€” sing along to the music of the season.
πŸ“Έ Family Photo Ops β€” capture a special memory by the Christmas tree.
🍞 Communion β€” share in the sacred tradition together.
