WELCOME

At NRUMC, you will find a warm and welcoming church that will open their hearts, minds, and doors to you!

Even though we are a larger church, the environment you will find is more reflective of smaller, closer-knit worship communities. We would love to have you visit, join in worship, and see for yourself! We look forward to meeting you!

NRUMC is proud to be a United Methodist Church - for more information on what that means, check the About page.

WE ARE A LIGHTHOUSE CONGREGATION

A Lighthouse Congregation is a local church in the North Carolina Conference that equips itself to be a caring and hospitable place that welcomes anyone whose church has closed or disaffiliated. North Raleigh UMC is a Lighthouse Congregation of The North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church, in partnership with The United Methodist Collective and the Office of New Faith Communities. Sundays 8:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.

If you’re looking for traditional worship, we have 2 great services, led by our clergy, the Chancel Choir, and other music ensembles.

Expect to be surrounded by a warm and caring congregation. Expect dynamic preaching from our ministers, and expect uplifting music from our outstanding Music Ministries. Expect to be blessed!

Children are welcome to participate in worship! We love having our community of all ages in worship together, but if you prefer, we have a nursery available.

Souljourn Contemporary Worship

In the Fellowship Hall

Sundays 9:45 a.m.

If you’re looking for contemporary worship, we have Souljourn, led by our clergy and by the Exaltation band and other music ensembles.

Souljourn involves all of our senses in praise and adoration of God. Led by our clergy and worship music leaders, we are refreshed and strengthened for our journeys of faith and life in Jesus Christ. Each Sunday, we sing uplifting music, spend time in prayer, share the joys and concerns of our lives, and hear God’s word proclaimed to provide direction for our lives.
